HLTH 2019 Conference

HLTH’s second annual conference in 2019 doubled its attendees and sponsors from 2018. This inspired us to experiment with larger forms of advertising including digital meter boards and large LED screens. I used my animation skills to create motion graphics to enhance the advertising experience. Each ad is distinct in look and feel to distinguish major conference events.

HLTH Partnered with Voice.io to explore the effect of voice technology on the health industry. This partnership necessitated many design assets including a major presence in the exhibitor hall, digital assets around the conference, numerous social media ads, and emails.

I combined HLTH’s blue and Voice’s purple to create an abstract sound wave that symbolized the union of the two organizations and the purpose of their shared track. This graphic played throughout HLTH’s three floors on 9’x3’ digital displays.

Over the year leading up to HLTH 2019, I created several social media posts for HLTH and Voice.io’s popular social media platforms creating a recognizable illustration for followers to find at the conference.

Discover Walking Challenge

Discover sponsored a walking challenge at HLTH where the five attendees with the highest step count during the entire duration of the conference would win $250 each. The sponsorship included a booth and prominent advertisements throughout the conference.

Posters for the walking challenge appeared digitally and in print in the entrance to the conference and surrounding Discover’s walking challenge booth. It used the same design motif using HLTh and Discover’s colors and symbolizing movement.

Welcome reception

HLTH’s welcome reception occurred at Topgolf’s building in Las Vegas with it’s colorful lights and enticing nightlife. Advertisements were shown on massive keynote stage screens, signs throughout the convention and on screens at Topgolf.

Banners advertising the welcome reception were placed throughout the conference area and Top Golf center in digital and print formats.

I created the  corresponding graphic for emails and social media posts on Linkedin and Twitter.

Happy hour

The HLTH happy hour event at the exhibit hall was advertised as a great way to network and enjoy entertainment as well as drink and eat. I wanted the ads to have a hand-drawn feel to distinguish them from the more contemporary/professional design of much of the conference’s branding. It also would signify the laid-back, relaxed atmostphere of happy hour.

Printed and digital posters lined the walls throughout the happy hour banquet room, tempting attendees to join the fun.
